Why is the Medal of Honor multiplayer screen so big?

When I play Medal of Honor online, the screen kind of stretches far to the point where I can't see my ammo and team score, does anyone else have this problem? I don't usually play it because there's a ton of campers, but I flanked them yesterday and got a buttload of kills, now I'm addicted haha.
